Following on from a motion of no confidence in Health Minister Simon Harris, Clare councillor are to be briefed by the CEO of UL Hospitals Group today.
Last Monday, a motion from Cllr James Breen to propose no confidence in Minister for Health, Simon Harris was passed by elected representatives in light of record breaking overcrowding at the University Hospital Limerick.
The Clare Echo understands that following on from the Council meeting, Fine Gael councillors Government representatives to vent their frustration having voted against the no confidence motion.
Subsequently, the briefing with Colette Cowan, the Chief Executive of the UL Hospitals Group was organised. She will meet with councillors today behind closed doors.
