Transmission of COVID-19 in Clare remains among the lowest levels in the Republic of Ireland according to latest data.
Most recent county figures showed an increase of six cases for Co Clare in data published on Sunday
On Monday, NPHET reported that 453 new cases had been diagnosed across the country with no new deaths reported.
A reduction in the amount of persons in critical care because of COVID-19 has been observed. As of 8am on Monday, 40 individuals remained in ICUs, a slight increase in those hospitalised was noted with the figure now at 129, five of which were admitted in the past 24 hours.
1,591,888 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Ireland, as of May 1st with 445,326 people getting both doses.
