A NOVEL Clare SHC final between Feakle and Sixmilebridge awaits to determine Canon Hamilton’s residence for the coming twelve months.

Feakle qualified for a first final since 1988 when overcoming a wasteful Cratloe while it took extra time and penalties for Sixmilebridge to navigate their way over Inagh/Kilnamona on Sunday evening.

Wolfe Tones’ bid to bounce back to the senior grade at the first attempt is still on course after they powered past the challenge of Ruan and they will meet Tubber who were dominant in their semi-final victory over Killanena.

Corofin ensured they will remain in the top flight after ending O’Callaghans Mills’ near five decade run in the senior grade.

Ross O’Donoghue is joined on The Water Break to discuss the weekend’s hurling with three-time Clare SHC winning Ballyea manager, Robbie Hogan and Broadford’s Padraig Hickey part of the 2012 All-Ireland winning Clare intermediate hurling side.
