THE WATER BREAK: Clare moving forward with extra drive for quarter-final bow

Trailing by five points with time running out, Clare footballers staged a dramatic comeback to overcome Roscommon with Keelan Sexton netting a penalty, captain Eoin Cleary kicked a decisive point while the winning score came courtesy of Jamie Malone.

This has sealed Clare’s place in the All-Ireland SFC quarter-finals for the first time since 2016.
