FOUR teams are left standing in the race for senior and intermediate hurling honours as teams eye up their shot of silverware while accolades are destined for Clare with 14 All Star nominees.

Championship credentials are becoming clear for some of the teams left standing with the semi-final draw focusing the minds of the final four.

On the latest episode of The Water Break, Ross O’Donoghue is joined by Tim Crowe who coached Sixmilebridge to win their first Clare SHC in 1977 and managed them to their last success in 2020, Tulla’s Clare SHC winning captain of 2007 Michael Murphy and ex Scariff and Crusheen coach Johnny Markham of Wolfe Tones.

15 questions asked and answered in this week’s podcast:

1. Are things falling into place for Cratloe?
2. Did Scariff tense up at the wrong time?
3. Have Inagh/Kilnamona upped their championship credentials?
4. Do Éire Óg need to take a leaf out of Cratloe’s book?
5. Are Feakle battle-hardened enough for a semi-final?
6. Did we expect too much from Crusheen?
7. Is this a harder working Sixmilebridge?
8. Did Clonlara get their set up right?
9. Did Cathal Malone miss out on an All-Star for the sake of headlines?
10. Who are Clare’s nailed on All-Stars in 2024?
11. How will the chips fall in the intermediate hurling championships?
12. What’s the driving factor in a relegation playoff?
13. Eye-catchers – what were the best performances of the weekend?
14. How many golf references can Tim Crowe fit into a hurling podcast?
15. Who will contest the TUS Clare Senior Hurling Championship Final?
