Rose Hynes’ extension as Shannon Group Chairperson in August 2019 arose following a phone call by the then Taoiseach, a former Minister for Transport has claimed.

A representative of Shannon Group is to appear before the Oireachtas COVID-19 committee later this month.
Further calls have been made for Rose Hynes to resign as Chairperson of Shannon Group.
A second Clare TD has called for the management of Shannon Group to step down.
