€1.4bn to be spent on Sceirde Rocks off-shore windfarm
*Sceirde Rocks. A TOTAL of €1.4bn is going to be the “significant initial investment” in a planned 450 MW wind-farm with 30 turbines over 1,000 ft high in the Atlantic Ocean off the Co Clare and Co Galway coasts.
