Feakle/Killanena’s Ziyan Spillane is to make her Clare senior camogie debut this weekend.

Ziyan is named at midfield in the Clare side that will commence their Littlewoods Ireland National Camogie League campaign away to Galway on Saturday afternoon. She will partner Aoife Keane in the centre of the field.

Corner forward Becky Foley will make her first start for the Clare seniors, she’s included in an all Truagh/Clonlara full-forward line while Doireann Murphy makes her first appearance between the posts for Ger O’Connell’s side.

Injury has ruled out the experienced duo of Niamh O’Dea and Roisin McMahon, both of whom were pressing for inclusion in the half-back line.

Experience is provided elsewhere in the half-forward line of Orlaith Duggan, Chloe Morey and Maire McGrath. Clare Hehir captains the side from full back with last year’s skipper Laura McMahon named at centre back.
