*Tulla’s victorious U15 hurlers and management.

A scorching second half surge saw Tulla complete an eleven point turnaround to capture the prestigious Under 15B hurling silverware over Crusheen/Tubber.

Tulla 1-12
Crusheen/Tubber 1-5
Venue: Cusack Park, Ennis

Trailing by 1-3 to 0-4 by the interval thanks to a lightning goal from the throw-in by Cathal McNamara and a brilliant Oscar Brigdale save from a Marc Walshe penalty.

However, there would be a dramatic sea-change for the second period as a more clinical Tulla outscored the north Clare amalgamation by 1-8 to 0-2.

Marc Walshe’s scoring prowess and a John Paul Murphy goal snatched the whip hand for Tulla who would never look back over their shoulder on their way to a historic first ever Under 15B title success.

Scorers for Tulla: Marc Walshe (0-5); John Paul Murphy (1-1); Nicolai Belenko (0-2); Micheál Rochford, Louis Jennings, Liam Og O’Meara, Eimhin Kinsella (0-1 each)

Scorers for Crusheen/Tubber: Cathal McNamara (1-0); Cillian O’ Meara (0-2); Odhran Perrill, Riain O’Donnell, Malachy O’Halloran (0-1 each)
