ENNIS boxer Paddy Donovan is to make his keenly anticipated return to the ring next month.

Undefeated welterweight, Donovan will feature on ESPN and Sky Sports as part of the undercard of undisputed light welterweight Josh Taylor versus WBO No. 1 contender Jack Catterall on Saturday, February 26 at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow.

Donovan who is trained by Andy Lee has not been in the ring since he defeated Jose Luis Castillo at the Feile in Belfast in August. He remains undefeated in the professional ranks.

An injury to his left hand prompted the cancellation of a planned fight in New York in the interval. Prior to the win over Castillo, he defeated both Jumaane Camero and Siar Ozgul either side of Christmas 2020.
