Ruairi Price is to continue as manager of the Clare Youths soccer side.

Price will have a third season in the role, he guided Clare to a semi-final position in his first campaign, a game which was never held following a ruling by the FAI.

His second season was once again interrupted by COVID-19 causing no action to take place in the Inter-League Cup.

A former goalkeeper with Shannon Olympic, Price received the backing of officers of the Clare District Soccer League (CDSL) at a meeting this week.

He will be joined once again by Darren Keane as assistant manager with Gary Cooke still involved as goalkeeper coach while Sixmilebridge’s Mark Culbert is on board as a coach.
