NEWSTALK will be broadcasting live from Shannon on Wednesday as part of their summer tour.

Andrea Gilligan’s Lunchtime Live will be broadcast live from the Future Mobility Campus in Shannon on Wednesday (July 19th).

Since August 2020, Donegal native Andrea has hosted the show, taking over the reigns from Ciara Kelly.

In what will be her first broadcast from Co Clare, Andrea will be chatting to local people and well-known faces on what the region has to offer.

Industry in Clare will be the item of discussion for Shannon Airport Director, Niall Kearns, Element Six’s Steve Linnane and co-founder of the Future Mobility Campus Wassim Derguech.

To mark Bunratty Castle celebrating sixty years of medieval banquets, an audio package from the iconic tourist site will be included.

Clare’s strength in terms of its tourism offering rivals all counties in the country and this will be discussed by John Burke, owner of the Armada Hotel, Clare County Council’s Head of Tourism, Deirdre O’Shea, Jarlath O Dwyer, CEO of Burren Eco Tourism Network and Manager Aillwee Burren Experience Nuala Mulqueeny.

Ennis’ future will be featured on the show with Chief Operating Officer of the Ennis 2040 DAC, Kevin Corrigan and senior executive officer of the Ennis Municipal District, Leonore O’Neill joining Andrea for this segment.
