Newmarket-on-Fergus native Harvey Cullinan has received a call up for the Republic of Ireland’s U19 training camp this week.
Cullinan has impressed since signing with Sheffield Utd having previously lined out at underage level for Clare and Newmarket Celtic.
Harvey has been a key player in defence for Del Geary’s U18 Sheffield side. He formed part of the Blades’ U23 squad in the season and ended the U18 campaign scoring a goal against Ipswich Town last week.
His academy clubmate Leo Gaxwill also be involved in the training camp which is predominantly for overseas players and will give the pair an opportunity to impress during the four-day camp which starts on Monday (May 17th).
In March, Harvey signed his first professional contract with Sheffield Utd.
