Funding has been set aside for a new classroom and SET room for Crusheen NS.

Under the Government’s Additional Accommodation Scheme 2020, Crusheen NS has been approved for funding which will result in the construction of a much-needed extra classroom to cater for its growing number of pupils.

Deputy Joe Carey (FG) had stressed the need for Crusheen NS to be selected under the scheme to Minister for Education, Joe McHugh (FG) in recent weeks.

“This is great news for the school and the local community: the new classroom will provide some badly needed extra space to cater for its growing pupil population. Funding has also been approved to provide a SET room which is another welcome development for the school community,” Carey stated.
