REPAIRS are to be scheduled for a cul-de-sac close to the border between Meelick and Cratloe.

Surfacing, drainage and repair works to the Moneen Road in Meelick was sought by Cllr PJ Ryan (IND) in a motion tabled before the Shannon Municipal District which was seconded by Cllr John Crowe (FG).

Approximately twelve houses are in the cul-de-sac, senior executive engineer Tom Mellett stated. He confirmed, “any repairs required would be scheduled”.

A timeframe for the repairs has yet to be outlined.
