Make The Clare Echo Website appear like and app on your phone

I-Phone:

1. Open Safari and navigate to the website:

   Open the Safari app on your device and go to the website you want to add to your home screen. 
2. Tap the Share icon:

   Look for the share icon, which looks like a square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen. 
3. Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen”:

   Once you tap the share icon, a list of options will appear. Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen”. 
4. Adjust the name (optional):

   You can optionally change the name of the website icon that will appear on your home screen. 
5. Tap “Add”:

   Once you’ve made your changes, tap “Add” to save the website icon to your home screen. 
6. Locate the icon:

   The website icon will now be added to your home screen, allowing you to access the website directly from your home screen.

Android:

1. Open Chrome and navigate to the website:

   Open the Chrome browser on your Android device and go to the specific website you want to add a shortcut for. 
2. Access the menu:

   Tap the three vertical dots (the menu icon) located in the top right corner of the browser window. 
3. Select “Add to home screen”:

   Find and tap on the option labeled “Add to home screen” from the menu. 
4. Optional: Rename the shortcut:

   You may be prompted to rename the shortcut. You can either keep the default name or enter a different name for the website shortcut. 
5. Confirm and add:

   Tap the “Add” button to finalize the process. The shortcut will now be added to your home screen as a new icon.
