KILDYSART Drama Society have postponed their production of ‘Love Thy Neighbour’.

Performances were due to begin on Saturday night (March 4th) but the death of Philomena O’Shea the wife of long serving cast member Frankie O’Shea resulted in the decision to postpone the production.

Further shows were due to be held on March 5th, March 11th and March 12th but will not take place.

Every March, the Kildysart Drama Society hosts its annual productions at the Community Centre. They have not held a live show since 2019 because of the pandemic but hosted a virtual show celebrating its twenty one year history.

Several new members have joined the group and will be on stage for the first time when new dates are announced.

The Drama Society took to social media to confirm the postponement and also to express sympathy to the O’Shea family.
