SIX-TIME ALL-IRELAND senior football winning manager, Jim Gavin is coming to Ennistymon.

Former Dublin senior football manager, Jim Gavin will be the guest of honour for the Ennistymon football club’s victory social which is to be held at The Falls Hotel on Friday March 11th which kicks off at 7:30pm.

Five different teams will be honoured on the night, they include the Minor A and Division 4 league winning sides of 2019 plus the sides which claimed championship glory at Minor and Junior last year alongside the 2021 Division 7 league winning teams.

Music on the night will be provided by The Hazards and DJ Vinnie with tickets costing €10 available from any member of the Executive.

An All-Ireland winner with Dublin in 1995, Jim is regarded as one of the greatest football managers of all time leading the Dubs to six All-Ireland titles, seven provincial championships and five National Football League crowns during his tenure from October 2012 to November 2019. His parents Jimmy and Ann hail from Cree and Moy respectively.
