ENNIS BASED, Gleeson Insurance has been acquired by Campion Insurance.

Gleeson Insurance is now part of the insurance intermediary PIB Group Ltd (‘PIB’), it was acquired through Campion Insurance, which leads PIB’s Irish division.

Campion’s portfolio has already acquired thirteen businesses and brings PIB’s headcount of employees in Ireland over 400.

Michael Gleeson will continue to lead Gleeson Insurance and the business will form part of PIB’s Irish division, led by Campion Insurance who have been part of PIB since 2021. The insurance broker has been based in Ennis for over thirty five years.

Their core primary products are car insurance for drivers of all ages, home insurance, farm insurance and commercial insurance. As a business, their primary goal is to be recognised and regarded as the “go to” insurance broker in Ennis and provide commitment, ownership, communication, excellence and consistency to their customers.
