CATFISHING and scenes from the Dáil bar were among the highlights of the St Patrick’s Day parade in Ennistymon.
Fr Willie Cummins had the honour of serving as Grand Marshal for the parade in Ennistymon.
Riverside Cycling Club took first prize for their float at the parade, their own version of Marty Morrissey even provided live commentary as they received the winning prize. The cycling club know a thing or two about storing bikes so it comes as no surprise that their inspiration for the float stemmed from the Dáil bike shelter.
Rules regarding catfishing were also on display from the float belonging to Cullinan’s Bar.
