ShelfLife National C-Store Awards

Four Clare based stores have been nominated for ShelfLife National C-Store Awards.

McNamee’s Londis, Miltown Malbay in Co. Clare has been nominated for two prestigious ShelfLife National C-Store Awards. The ShelfLife C-Store Awards are the only comprehensive and independently judged business accolades for the C-Store sector and McNamee’s Londis in Milltown has been shortlisted in the Convenience Store of the Year (Large) and Community Initiative of the Year categories. To be shortlisted for just one ShelfLife C-Store Award is a hugely creditable achievement, while being shortlisted in two separate categories is truly extraordinary.

Commenting on their achievement to date, Londis Sales Director Conor Hayes said, “The honour of being shortlisted in the annual ShelfLife National C-Store Award is a tremendous acknowledgement of the ongoing excellence of McNamee’s Londis, Miltown Malbay. To be shortlisted in two categories is a truly remarkable achievement and I want to congratulate Kevin and Michelle McNamee and all the staff on this tremendous honour.”

Talty’s MACE, Lissycasey has been nominated for three awards, Convenience Store of the Year (Medium), Food to Go Retailer of the Year and Fresh & Chilled Retailer of the Year categories. To be shortlisted for just one ShelfLife C-Store Award is a hugely creditable achievement, while being shortlisted in three separate categories is truly extraordinary. Commenting on their achievements to date, MACE Sales Director Peter Dwan said, “The honour of being shortlisted in the annual ShelfLife National C-Store Awards is a tremendous acknowledgement of the ongoing excellence of Talty’s MACE Lissycasey.”

I want to take the opportunity to congratulate all involved on being shortlisted.”

The 20th annual ShelfLife National C-Store Awards in association with Cuisine De France & The National Lottery will take place at Dublin’s Royal Marine Hotel on March 10. A high point in the retail calendar every year, the gala ceremony will be an opportunity to celebrate the hard-working retail managers who have shown tremendous dedication to their customers and colleagues during the outbreak of Covid-19.
