CLARE lotto players may have missed out on scooping the €19m Jackpot on Saturday but winnings were recorded across the county.

One customer of Talty’s Stores in Lissycasey purchased a Match5+ ticket worth €36,897 in Saturday’s Lotto draw.

Staff at the busy West Clare store described the win as “great news”. “We are delighted for the winner. Come in and check your tickets, it could be you,” a spokesperson for Talty stores commented.

In May 2020, Talty’s also sold the winning ticket in a then €4m Lotto draw. Talty’s has a long running history with Lissycasey stretching over 47 years beginning when TJ and Máire first opened.

Smaller winnings were reported across Clare with some punters winning sums such to the value of €3, €5 and €10.

Clare business, Tailor&Blue coffee won €3 and added €97 to this as part of a donation to Women’s Aid.
