Ballynacally/Lissycasey have been crowned U10 Community Games Munster Champions.

They defeated Newport of Tipperary by the smallest of margins, winning out 3-05 3-04 in the decider. Their success is all the more impressive given that they trailed by seven points earlier in the game.

In the semi-final, the Clare representatives overcame the challenge of Kerry club Listowel.

As Munster champions, Ballynacally/Lissycasey now have the All-Ireland finals to look forward which take place at UL in August.

Former Clare footballer Ger Keane is part of their management team along with Declan Coughlan, Derrick O’Connor and Martin Hehir.
