CLARE’s senior footballers will either be facing off with the Ulster champions, Tyrone and Cork or the losers of the Leinster final, Monaghan and Meath in the All-Ireland SFC.
Before the provincial finals have been held, the draws have been made for the Sam Maguire Cup and Tailteann Cup.
Should Clare spring an upset and defeat Kerry in the Munster final this weekend, they will be the top seed in Group 4 and will meet the losers of Dublin versus Louth, Monaghan and Meath.
If Clare come up short against Kerry in the provincial decider they will end up as the second seed in Group 2 where their opponents will include the Ulster champions which will be either Armagh or Donegal, Tyrone and Cork.
For the All-Ireland series, one of Clare’s games will be held in Cusack Park, they will be away to one of their group opponents and the other game will be held at a neutral venue.
Kerry manager Jack O’Connor has said the move to hold the draws before any provincial final has been played is a distraction.
Mark Fitzgerald’s Clare face the Kingdom this Sunday at 1:45pm in Cusack Park as the counties lock horn in the Munster final for the second year in a row.
