CLAREโ€™S U20 side to face Waterford in the first round of the Munster U20 football championship has been named.

Leamybrien hosts Saturday eveningโ€™s encounter at 5:30pm as Clare travel to Waterford.

Joint captains Odhran Cunningham and Joshua Moloney are both included in the half-back line of the Clare team where they are joined by Luke Pyne. Cunninghamโ€™s clubmate Cian Corry starts between the posts.

Aaron Kelly who was introduced as a substitute in last yearโ€™s defeat to Kerry is named at corner back with Miltown Malbayโ€™s Sean Neylon another survivor of the 2023 squad to start at centre forward, Cillian Gavin and Darren Keane are to play on either side of Neylon.

St Josephโ€™s Doora/Barefieldโ€™s Tom Curran who was also part of the last yearโ€™s panel is included among the substitutes.

Ennistymon duo Joshua Vaughan and ร‰anna Rouine form a midfield pairing. Seรกn McAllister who has played at midfield for his club Clondegad is named at full-back where he is flanked by the Kellys, Aaron and Michael.

Conor Fennell, Daire Culligan and Seรกn McMahon complete the Clare team as the inside line for Michael Neylonโ€™s charges.
