Co Clare accounts for some of the lowest active COVID-19 cases in the country.
399 new cases of the virus have been diagnosed across the country. Of these, 94 are in Dublin, 41 in Donegal, 27 in Wicklow, 14 in Louth, 13 in Limerick and the remaining 110 cases are spread across 20 other counties.
Latest figures have confirmed that Co Clare has now gone one full week recording less than five new cases of COVID-19 per day.
Clare’s 14 day incidence rate per 100k of the population currently stands at 68.2 with the national equivalent at 92.3.
Health officials have also been informed that a further two COVID-19 related deaths have occurred. A total of 2,052 persons have died from the virus in the country.
