A Kilkee company has achieved All-Star architecture and design company accreditation from the All-Ireland Business Foundation.
Diarmuid Keane and Associates Ltd received the independently verified standard mark for indigenous businesses following a selection criteria. The accreditation is overseen by the prestigious All-Ireland Business Foundation, whose adjudication panel is chaired by Dr Briga Hynes of the Kemmy Business School at the University of Limerick and Kieran Ring, CEO of the Global Institute of Logistics.
Over 450 firms in the country now hold this accreditation. Dr Hynes explained that it is needed by thousands of small and medium sized businesses that operate to their own standards, but have nothing to measure them by. The All-Ireland Business Foundation is a national body which accredits best-in-class Irish businesses as Business All-Stars. The Foundation also oversees the All-Ireland Business Summit.
Dr Hynes stated, “We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics”.
Managing Director of the Kilkee based multi-disciplinary construction consultancy firm, Diarmuid Keane commented, “This is a huge honour for myself and all the team and we are filled with such pride. The All-Star Accreditation is a testament to our ongoing commitment to raising standards within our profession and our intention to remain on top of our game. It is further confirmation for our clients of our professionalism and our constant goal to achieve the highest of standards”.
