THREE men targeted a Quin woman resulting in the burglary of her handbag on Wednesday last (December 8th).

A resident of Quin Gardens in the village reported that at some stage between 16:30 and 17:30 on Wednesday last that three men called to her house looking for payment for work they claimed to have carried out.

One of the men invited the woman to view the so-called completed work which was outside her house, when she left the house to inspect the work, another member of the male trio entered her home and she observed him leaving the house.

After a short period, the woman discovered that her handbag had been taken from the front living room of her house.
