A body was found on Friday in the search for missing Michael Healy.

Gardaí on Friday evening confirmed they located a body in the search for the missing Ennistymon man which prompted officials to stand down the search.

Family members reported Michael as being missing on Tuesday, his last sighting was in Doolin.

“We would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance in this matter,” a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána told The Clare Echo.
