A Garda investigation has been launched following after a man’s body was found in a public toilet in Ennis this morning.

Shortly after 8am on Thursday morning, the discovery of a man’s body was made at Abbey St in Ennis in one of the public toilets.

The male was believed to be in his thirties, staff at University Hospital Limerick are now conducting a post mortem on his corpse.

Gardaí have confirmed they are not suspecting foul play but are appealing for witnesses who may have information to come forward and contact them on 065 68 48 100.
