The death took place at the weekend of one of Clare’s best known footballers, Tommy Mangan from Kilrush.
The ladies festive 9 hole competition at Dromoland last week was won by Mairéad Toomey with 17 points. She won on a countback from Julie Fitzgerald with Marie Meaney a point back in third place.
