Cars in Lisdoonvarna and Kilnamona were targeted in the past week in the theft of alloy wheels.

Gardaí in Clare have confirmed that two separate cars were targeted on Thursday (August 5th). The first occurred when the owner parked up vehicle overnight outside his house at Cloghaun Holiday Homes, Ballinalacken, Lisdoonvarna.

He woke the following morning to discover the four alloys wheels stolen. The rear window was broken to get the lock nut key in order to remove the wheels.

Between 1am and 3am on the same day, the owner of a car at Shallee in Kilnamona woke to find the four alloy wheels removed from the car outside his house.

Anyone with information on the two crimes or who has been offered alloys for sale are asked to contact Ennistymon Garda Station on 065-7072180.
