Work has begun on the clearing of overgrown bushes and weeds between St Anne’s Community College and Clarisford in Killaloe.
A member of the Killaloe Municipal District’s outdoor crew has been assigned the task of clearing the overgrown bushes and weeds in the vicinity of the secondary school and Clarisford in the East Clare town.
It follows a proposal from Cllr Tony O’Brien (FF) seeking the works to be completed. “The footpath in question was clearly overgrown and not accessible for people to use properly,” he stated.
Cathaoirleach of the Killaloe MD, Cllr Joe Cooney (FG) seconded the request from the Killaloe councillor.
